At Oxford College Summer School we have a wide range of academic courses available, designed to help students develop their subject knowledge, English language proficiency and help prepare them for university.
All college students receive 41 hours of academic content over the 2-week course. This consists of 30 hours of academic tuition, 8 hours of University Preparation and 3 hours of London Academic Excursions.*
Across all our courses, our dynamic tutors implement a communicative environment, meaning students participate actively in English at all times. Oxford College students can choose to study one of the following 11 options.
*Please note: Foundation English students receive 38 hours of academic tuition and one 3 hour academic excursion during their two week course. Foundation English students do not have University Preparation.
An integral part of our Oxford College Academic Programme is our aim to help students prepare for success at university. We therefore offer 8 hours of University Preparation and 3 hours of London Academic Excursions to all students at Oxford College, except Foundation English. University Preparation will assist them in developing a range of key study skills and learning strategies, gain greater confidence in their subject knowledge and English language proficiency, broaden their education and provide them with practical advice and guidance on the university application process.
