Oxford is a world-famous university city and both our college campuses are situated in fantastic locations, enabling our students to explore the many things Oxford has to offer with ease.
Every week students will experience an afternoon at one of the city’s most popular attractions. Students can choose from guided tours of the historic Oxford University colleges, visiting one of the many famous museums, punting on the river Cherwell, relaxing in the beautiful botanical gardens or exploring the shopping district, with its many souvenir shops and the new Westgate shopping centre.
Our college students are also provided with some structured free time every day before dinner. During this time students have the chance to relax in the beautiful grounds of their Oxford College campus, or sign out of the college and explore the local area with their friends. This may include a visit to one of the neighbouring university parks, or a trip to the local shops and many nearby cafes with their new friends.
As part of the college Social Programme, students will also enjoy spending some of their summer evenings offsite, within the beautiful city of Oxford.
Oxford evenings may include a trip to see an outdoor Shakespeare performance in one of the picturesque Oxford University gardens, an engaging evening walking tour about the city’s history led by an expert guide, or a trip to the cinema to see one of the latest film releases.
